Our history of excellence in producing avocado oil stems back over three generations, when our grandfathers pioneered in producing only cold pressed edible oils.

We created Avofarm in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, after years of research into the best way to grow and harvest premium avocados to make this unique oil.

Our avocados grow in the unique microclimate of Awasha and Jimma area where the soil and climatic conditions play an important role in developing the unique blend of flavour and aroma in extra virgin oils. And with a unique world-class production process, we can ensure the oil from these avocados reaches you in its purest and most nutritionally beneficial form.

Today, cold pressed avocado oil is recognized as one of the healthiest oils on the market, high in monounsaturated fat and natural tocopherols. In addition, it is free of trans fatty acids and cholesterol-inducing fats. Our oil is 100% natural - no preservatives, refinement or additives.

Our avocados are sourced locally and sun-ripened to perfection, before the skin and stones are removed. The avocado flesh is then delicately cold-pressed in a single extra virgin process.
The resulting delectable green oil is then poured into dark bottles designed to preserve the oil’s freshness and flavour, before it reaches your home.
Over the years we have combined the science of processing technology with the art of craftsmanship, to perfect the creation of what is known today as one of the world’s premium culinary oils.
